TEACHING EXPERIENCE: New School Jazz Department Hunter College Institute of Guitar in New York Frederick Donglass Academy, Band Director - Stevenson High School Bronx, NY Teaching all age levels in the preparatory and adult program for the extension division at The New England Conservatory of Music. Administer and teach guitar, bass, theory, and ensembles for an Out-Reach Program at The New England Conservatory of Music The Group's work is performed throughout the Boston School System and the City of Boston. This includes performances before the Board of Education, the State House, and culminated with a performance in Jordan Hall where students performed original pieces and arrangements by the department. This includes the debut of colleague Bobby Green's City Suite and other pieces arranged by Michael Taylor and Lew Traver for Conservatory Big Band. The program appeared on channel 7's arts section and was reviewed as a huge success for high school students. Taught bass and guitar at Music Maker Studios, Corey Road, Brookline, Massachusetts. Attended the Creativity Conference for Music for Philadelphia School Teachers at Temple University. Teacher in the Philadelphia and New York Public School Systems.

PERFORMING EXPERIENCE JAZZ - Performed with Jaki Byard's Big Band, The Apollo Stompers, and Jimmy Guiffre's Composers Improvisers Lab Orchestra, the Harlem Renaissance Big Band, Olatunji and the Pazant Brothers, Milira, Jimmy "Preacher" Robins, Mike Osbourne, Bill Kennedy, and Charles McGee, Pucho and his Latin soul Brothers, Arthur Sterling, Jazz Corner TV Show. Solo jazz guitar and group performances (with my own band) in numerous jazz clubs and hotels in the Boston-Cambridge area. Other solo appearances in Vermont, Nantucket, Montreal and Philadelphia. Worked performances for Channel 7 - Boston, WGBH, Channel 4, Channel 38, Harvard University, the New England Patriots and the Mayor's Office for Cultural Affairs (Boston). In New York, worked performances at Apollo Theater, Spo-dee-o-dee's, Madison Square Garden, Sweetwaters, Le Bar Bat, Nassau Coliseum, Mondo Cane, Mondo Perso, The Carlton, the Border. Appeared in Jamaica with the Mighty Diamonds, the Itals, and the Heptones. Recorded at Tuff Gong Studios.
